As a Security Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols throughout the property. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client-specific requirements.
Support access control procedures and visitor management protocols as required by the location.
