Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in an automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking locations, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with location protocols.
  • Support a professional presence at an automotive-related location by assisting with routine security-related inquiries, observing daily operations, and communicating clearly with staff and guests.
