As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive access control and exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first service in a dynamic financial environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and directing guests to appropriate areas within the facility.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities according to site-specific guidelines and instructions.
