About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrols in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances within the location and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
