As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, managing badge control, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor and employee entry and/or exit in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site guidelines.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for monitoring and reporting purposes.
