About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Specialist in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a prominent financial institution location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, clients, and/or employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including following emergency response protocols as needed.
Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and/or other security-related documentation as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, client contacts, and/or emergency services when necessary.
Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location, assisting with inquiries and directing them as appropriate.
