As a Security Officer - Financial Customer Service Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your role supports a secure environment by assisting with access control and communicating clearly with visitors and employees. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique requirements of financial institution locations.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site expectations.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to financial institution environments and communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
