About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Center Lobby in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk professional in a prominent financial institution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing access control, greeting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication skills. Requirements

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
Monitor and control access to the building, verifying identification and documenting visitor information as required.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide assistance as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to address questions and/or concerns related to security-related matters.
Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, and/or emergencies according to site procedures.
