As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist travelers and staff, respond to concerns, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking areas, roadway approaches, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or violations of site rules.
  • Monitor activity through observation and available systems, complete reports on noteworthy events, and communicate updates using radios, phones, and/or computer systems.
  • Control entry to restricted areas by checking identification and credentials, directing visitors, and enforcing posted rules and/or client instructions.
