As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a major financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, lobby and common spaces, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and/or hazards; communicate directions and information to visitors and employees as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
