About The Position
As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Full-Time in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the food and beverage location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of site protocols.
- Report and document any observed irregularities, hazards, or incidents according to company and client procedures.
- Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with local authorities when appropriate.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
