Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Granville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
- Must have a valid driver's license for 1+ year
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Communicate with site staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Support the enforcement of site rules and guidelines to help to maintain order within the location.
