Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge checks and/or sign-in procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts per site policy.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues using logs and/or incident reports, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
