Requirements
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence halls, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and security-related hazards, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or campus stakeholders.
