As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will conduct mobile patrols and driving rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and assist with visitor and vendor sign-in processes in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and support investigations by preserving observations and available information.
