As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet residents and guests, support access control, and communicate concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and requesting medical assistance and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify authorization when required, and help to maintain orderly movement through entrances, lobbies, and/or parking areas.
• Document daily activity and incidents with clear written reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and complete security-related checks of doors, gates, and/or key control per post orders.
