Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and report suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
  • Support daily operations by following post orders, preparing incident and activity reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
