As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and partner with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobby areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas; assist with badge checks and/or verifying authorization as directed by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
