You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and document observations with clear communication. You will also deliver a welcoming customer service presence while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity and putting people first.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and building systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate key observations during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.
