Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production, storage, loading docks, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor logs, and directing employees, contractors, and delivery drivers according to site requirements.
  • Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
