Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy food and beverage production location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with badge and visitor processes, and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
  • Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or deliveries, and directing visitors, contractors, and drivers according to location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
  • Complete routine reporting such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
