Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Control access by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing traffic for deliveries and pickups at shipping and receiving areas.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate noteworthy activity to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
