As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control as needed, and provide clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control points, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or property damage through high-visibility presence and routine checks.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate status updates and request assistance from site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, access activity, and incident response; support investigations by preserving observations and maintaining chain of information per post orders.
