Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verifying identification and/or delivery information according to site procedures and documenting entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, inspections, irregularities, and incidents, and communicate key information to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client point of contact.
