Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, greet and assist employees and visitors, and support badge issuance and verification. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through required documentation and notification channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity.
