About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures. This driving post includes routine patrols, a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing authorized individuals to designated entry points within the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or badge access systems to help support security-related operations, document visitor activity, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct screening of personnel, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols for a chemical and petrochemical environment, while maintaining accurate logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, and communicate clearly with supervisors and/or local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related issues, support compliance with site policies, and report maintenance or operational concerns.
