About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Minden, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, maintain accurate access records, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to post procedures.
• Support a professional lobby or gatehouse presence by answering questions, directing authorized individuals, and reporting maintenance, life response, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
