Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and use strong communication and teamwork to support daily operations with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity according to post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and sharing detailed information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
