As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, issue and verify badges, and monitor visitor and employee access to support security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, and provide clear customer service at every interaction. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary visitor credentials, and directing deliveries to designated check-in points.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, and alarm notifications; document access activity and unusual conditions in logs and required reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production support areas, parking lots, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
