As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help create a secure environment for clients and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activities.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
