As a Security Officer - Primary Entrance Post in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and visitor management requirements in an industrial manufacturing location.
- Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or guard shacks by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining access logs, and directing traffic to authorized areas.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; report irregular activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching support, coordinating with emergency services as needed, and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify hazards to operations, and report maintenance or access issues.
