As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Park Rapids, MN, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. This role involves a fixed-shift commitment (Anchor Shifts) at a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment. In addition to the fixed shift, employees can pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing for part-time hours one week and potentially full-time the next. This position is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries while following site-specific post orders and reporting procedures.
