As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role involves a Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”) where you will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six (6) month commitment. Additionally, through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program, you may pick-up extra shifts via a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing you to work part-time hours one week and full-time the next. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe onsite activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or property damage while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor direction, and special event activity as needed, while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and local responders regarding security-related matters.
