Job Description As a Security Officer Emergency Dispatch Clearance Required in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aero and defense location, you will coordinate security-related calls, monitor alarms and access activity, and support on-site teams with clear, timely communication. You will help to keep operations running smoothly by tracking incidents, documenting updates, and guiding responses with professionalism and customer service. Requirements
- Maintain an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Operate the dispatch function by receiving and prioritizing calls for service, coordinating officer response, and relaying clear updates to leadership and/or client representatives.
- Monitor alarms, access control events, and/or CCTV systems, document activity, and escalate unusual conditions according to post orders to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to appropriate internal and/or external resources.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, completing routine checks and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns as observed.
