As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prestigious educational location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post; you will conduct routine patrols throughout the campus, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as requested by the client.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unauthorized individuals or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Communicate professionally with staff, students, visitors, and local emergency services as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
Provide assistance and/or information to students, staff, and visitors as requested, supporting a welcoming atmosphere in an educational environment.
