As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for vehicle patrols across the campus. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual circumstances.
Document incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by assisting with evacuations, crowd control, and/or other required actions during critical incidents.
Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
