As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional communication and customer service to all individuals on site. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel and/or authorities as required.
Assist students, staff, and visitors by providing directions or information and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and managing visitor flow.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
