Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related communications and activities throughout the educational location.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance, providing clear information to security personnel and stakeholders.
Document and report all incidents, calls, and activities as required by site-specific policies and procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and communicating with on-site staff as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from students, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner.
Support security-related procedures by relaying accurate information and following established protocols during routine operations and critical situations.
Maintain awareness of the location's environment and report any suspicious activities or hazards to appropriate personnel.
