As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, assisting students and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities and collaborate with local law enforcement or first responders when needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
