About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrols in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail and mall location, where you will drive through assigned areas, perform routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with crowd flow during busy business periods and special events, and support store opening and closing activities in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support a welcoming environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns observed during patrols.
