About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, administrative spaces, entry points, and perimeter routes, to help identify potential hazards and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, helping to support authorized entry and adherence to site rules.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.
