As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or public officials regarding security-related matters and directional assistance.
  • Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation, and support Allied Universal and site management with requested security-related information.
