As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Oakland, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Ability to meet state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry activity according to site protocols, assisting with visitor processing, credential checks, and delivery coordination as directed by location procedures.
  • Observe equipment, materials, and work areas for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings through required reports and incident documentation.
