About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Apple Grove, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Your presence and communication skills will support a secure environment for clients and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
Document and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address questions or concerns regarding security-related matters.
