About The Position
As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Maumee, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials and/or following site access procedures for restricted areas.
- Support order at the location by communicating professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, helping to address questions, direct traffic flow, and/or report maintenance or security-related issues.
