About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Role Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will drive between assigned areas with a valid driver’s license, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report, assist with access control points as needed, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, ATM and transaction areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, check identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor management and direction to approved areas.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
