As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, common spaces, and the perimeter as applicable; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation such as shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate notable conditions to supervisors and/or client representatives.
  • Monitor assigned areas for irregular activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, and take appropriate action consistent with post orders to help to deter unwanted activity.
