As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. The team values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while supporting daily operations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
  • Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation.
