About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol Specialist - Weekdays in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and/or site staff to maintain a secure environment in a technology-focused setting.
