About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol Specialist - Weekdays in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and/or site staff to maintain a secure environment in a technology-focused setting.
