About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Role in Wenatchee, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns related to access, equipment, and/or property conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas, verify access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support site operations during weather events, service interruptions, and/or other critical situations by following post orders, providing directions, and assisting with orderly response efforts.
